We were very sad to hear of Karen's untimely passing. Bob and I have known Karen since our days at RPI. She was a warm and caring friend with a heart of gold - always ready to help those around her. She had a great sense of humor. And a wonderful baker too - the wedding cake she made for us was the best I've ever tasted - and made with love. It seems like only yesterday...we will miss her

I last saw Karen when she and Beth visited me at the rehabilitation center and treated me to an outdoor picnic.Dan and I met Karen two years earlier for brunch in New York. She was so much fun. We still have in use the Christmas ornaments that she gave us many years ago.She was a kind and patient babysitter for my son. Karen was an intelligent, strong-hearted individual who illuminated our lives. We will always appreciate knowing her and will remember her with love forever.

I was very sorry to hear of Karen's passing. It was quite a shock. She was a tutoring colleague
and we shared many students - from
Sleepy Hollow to Putnam Valley. Parents and other tutors that I've talked to who knew her had nothng
but praise for her kindness, dedication, intelligence, abilities, and tutoring skills. My
personal experience only served to
confirm those opinions. Karen, you will be missed.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Karen. We had many occasions to meet, usually in the library , to meet our students. Karen was a very good person who greeted me with warmth and sincerity. She was a dedicated person to her duties. She received an advanced degree later in life which was a wonderful achievement. She will be missed.
I was impressed with her past mechanical abilities (working for GM). Amazingly she advised me on plumbing problems I had. She was always willing to offer exchange of ideas concerning our mutual students.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Karen for the past 4 years. We started working at Strategic Learning around the same time. Karen was always ready willing and able to work, never turned me down. Besides work, she was a very warm, caring person, always putting someone else's needs and concerns before herself. I am going to miss speaking to her everyday, and seeing her come to my house to pick up or drop off things for work. RIP Karen...your an angel up above now.

My beautiful sister and friend, taken from us too soon. I shall miss your way of making me laugh until I cried as well as your kindness and generosity of spirit until we are together once more. Rest easy dear one. I love you.
